This stand is easy to put together and just looks good because its easy on the eyes, black legs black glass, easy to dust. I looked at a lot of stands and passed on them due to fake wood, crevices that collect dust, door, knobs etc. I have to say also mine came with a gouged piece which I thought was no big deal, I could hide it but I was wrong, it was on the front leg. I didn't want to send it back to Amazon so I wrote an email to the company that made it. They shipped me out the piece next day fed ex. I love the customer sevice department. I also see its selling for less then I paid just a few weeks ago, so if your looking at it, go for it.

I ordered this for my 58" Plasma. The unit showed up damaged by UPS (to be expected). The Techcraft customer support is GREAT. I called the number, it rang twice and was answered by a real person. They sent the replacement parts right out.
The only reason I didn't give this a 5 is because of the shelf thickness. The top shelf is plenty thick to hold the tv. My problem is with the thinner lower shelves. When placing my receiver in the center of the second shelf, it causes the glass to flex and not sit flat on all of the pads. The reciever weighs about 19 lbs. I added a few extra rubber bumpers to the center of the shelf and it seemed to help some.

Very good bang for the buck. Looks great with my decor; simple yet functional. Obtained this item for my 65 inch dlp. Not much room to spare but will work.

I'm extremely satisfied with the this tv stand. First, the delivery was very prompt and fast, Amazon went above and beyond. I originally thought that the stand wouldn't arrive for about a week and a half, it came in two days. The packaging was easy to open and there were no missing pieces. Everything was in good condition. I did worry about the glass, but all three pieces were good shape. The assembly was easy and painless. I suggest putting the frame together and placing the frame in it's place before placing the glass shelves in place. Assembly did take some time, since I did it by myself, but does fly because it is fun to put together. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a well-made TV stand for a good price. Simple, elegant and classy.
Great stand but a minor issue... July 6, 2010

So I got the techcraft stand. It's a very nice and sturdy stand, however I do have an issue with it. The glass on both shelves are uneven. The back portion of it is not touching the rubber stoppers... Did anyone else experience that or is it just me?
